itunes 4.9 let's you subscribe to podcasting via rss, ways to publish podcasts as well.
If podcasting blows up for education, which it sure seems to be doing at this convention, then us having one for work usage is absolutely a valid purchase!
NECC Dashboard wideget- didn't quite catch what he was saying, but it looked like they showed a NECC widget, but I could not tell the purpose.... sorry!

Wow. They had the premiere podcast from NECC tonight. I know they filled the room twice! Who knows how many people gave up & chose not to wait in either line....
They spent some time with iTunes 4.9 (yes, if you want to "get" what all the buzz is about, download it now). It was only released today. They showed exactly how easy it is to create your own podcast & upload it. They also talked about some other resources:
epnweb.org
groups.yahoo.com, the podcasting education group
& www.audioblogger.com, which allows you to blog from any phone in the world.

PodCasting is cool!!!!
I was really impressed with the educational implications of the application. I have already downloaded 4.9 and can't wait to try it out when I get home!
